Thread-of-the-day material here. Or perhaps week.

    Aw, who're we kidding? Thread-of-the-year here. ;) :D

I'll add feul to the fire... a crossbow is a gun with a different caliber. You have .30-06, .44 Rem mag, and "bolt."

On a serious note (that automatically deflects criticism from the above statement in case you happen to not agree with me -- sort of like the proverbial "winkey face" after a rude comment), I would love to see some pics of you actually using the feather burner -- if that's possible.

Whats that supposed to mean? :argue:

The feather burner (keeping true to its name sake) burns the feather to the shape the hot wire is formed to. It can be formed to a variety of shapes. The arrow is slowely spun by the fellow gaging on the awful smell of burned feathers (smells like burning hair, only worse and in much greater volume) The hot wire slices through the feather and you spin the arrow to the next feather and so on. Thankfully there are only 3 because I cant hold my breath much longer. I do not have any video of my own to show the smokey process but I contacted the fine folks at youtube and sent them to another guys house to film his burning. Pity, there is no smellovision.

Ok...I had no clue what the feather burner did until watching the video. I'm an idiot but most know that anyway. :)

Keep up the good work! I love the step-by-step instructions.
