After not having shot a bow in well over a decade, I'm now back but? With a recurve trying to work my way up the draw weight. Got a second hand bow with a straight nitro string. As I'm working my way up slowly to #40 are there any "new" strings that I missed in the last 12 or so years? Thanks for any pointers
I don't know much, but I do know that Fast Flight strings seemed to be the deal as long as your bow is made to use them. some of the older bows can't use them.
Thank you for that Vabowman, I'll take a look at them. Remember those by name, must have been around for some time
fast flight is the material. there are lots of manufactures. I think the other type of string is dracon. the FF is faster, better quality I believe. how old is your bow?
I've outfitted two of my recurves with the Rogue Spectra Flemish Twist bow string from 3Rivers Archery and think they're great. https://www.3riversarchery.com/rogue-spectra-flemish-twist-bow-string.html
