recurve/mechanical release

    I know this will sound strange but…does anyone shoot their recurves with a mechanical release?

    Nerve damage in my hand makes finger releasing a three day recovery effort (pain).

    In that situation, if you it keeps you shooting, no reason not too. Perhaps the winn free flite reverse trigger release would work for you? You pull the trigger while drawing the bow, then release it like a string when you want it to fire...

    A friend of mine uses a release with good results.

    Go for it! Especially if it keeps you shooting. Heck yeah.

    I've never seen someone do it, but It does work.
    If that's what keeps you shooting, do it.
