I bought my first reconyx about a month ago when I went to the woods today to check it I found a padlock with a bullet hole in it and my camera was gone. It is amazing what people will do when they are not worried about getting caught. I hate trespassers.
Man, I'm really sorry to hear that. Keep an eye on your local craigslist and pawn shops and you just might get it back. There was a guy that had a cam stolen last year and he saw it on craigslist the same week it was stolen. To make a long story short, he got his camera back and the thief was arrested. First off I am sorry to hear this happened to you. Second I just dont understand how some hunters can keep tresspassing and see a stand or a camera and think that should be mine.

That sucks really bad man, I feel for you. If you can afford it buy another one and a very crappy one. Put the nice one in a secret spot, well consealed, looking over the crappy one. I have heard of this working quite well. Chances are the piece of **** will come back looking for another one. I'm with Schultzy too!!! I am by no means a fighter, but if I caught someone taking something from me that I worked my ass off for, all bets would be off.
This definitly sucks. Spending that kind of money and haveing a real piece of work walk by it and decide he would like, total bull. Hope you are able to track your camera and the person down!
That burns my arse. I am not sure if people feel you have there pic so now they have to steal the cam or because they just take anything that is not nailed down. I know i dont know you but i still would like to help.
