With all the rain we got last night I took off to the camp to get my cameras in the low areas. All were good but one. It was one of my Reconyx xr6's. It was under water. I tried getting to it with hip boots but it was too deep. Went home and got my chest waders. The water had gone up another 8 inches. Walked out to the camera found the stick that I had propped against the camera stand. Reaching underwater to find it I got water in my waders. Pulled it up and walked back to dry ground. I slipped going up the bank and got soaked. But when I opened my camera it was dry as a bone. This was expected but I always worry about that little stick or dirt getting on the rubber seals. I always check that before closing my cams. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I had one of our older Reconyx go under once when the creek got out. Still works like a champ. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
