I was surprised when I went to Reconyx's website that I saw this what seems to be white flash cam. Is this their new 2012 camera or something? Has anyone seen or heard of this cam yet? When I push add to card it works, so maybe they're already selling them? Sounds pretty exciting to me! I love my HC600...except for the flash. It has sample pics that look pretty good. And IN COLOR!!

Is it just me or does it seem like the flash range is weak?

It is weak however it still has a trigger speed of 1/5 of a second..You can't really have quality flash when there's only 1/5 of a second to recover. JMO

I am not sure if this can compete with the upcoming scoutguard SG860C, which is a Long Range camera.
