Reconyx Customer Service Update Part 3

    Okay guys, as some may remember I sent my Reconyx RC 60 back for some repairs awhile back. I mentioned about how it was a pleasure to deal with the company and they really seemed to care about their customers. Well, I got my camera back and finally decided that I should post an update.

    Remember, this camera was almost a full year OUT of warranty and the repairs they did are listed below.

    * Focused Lens
    * Checked Lens Focus
    * Applied Lens lock
    * Repaired solder joint on power supply
    * Replaced day/night exchanger
    * Repaired low battery detection circuit
    * Updated firmware
    * QA test

    Total repair cost was $0.00.... I spent a total of $6.71 to ship the camera back and have it repaired and sent back to me.... and they also sent a nice camo Reconyx hat back with the unit.

    Yet again, I am not trying to sway anybody into a Reconyx camera, but if you are thinking about dropping the $$ on one and your wondering how the company treats their customers.... you absolutely can't be Reconyx. If the rain holds up I may be able to get out this afternoon for a hunt and I will be placing the camera out!

    That's pretty awesome. I ain't got the cheddar for more cams at the moment, but if I did, these were def on the list.

    After the experience I personally have had with them and reading about others, I would be suprised by anything else. Great company to deal with, before and after the sale!

    If only they weren't sooooooooooo expensive. Very glad to hear they treated you well!
