i live in the easter panhandle of west virginia the area i hunt gets alot of snow in the winter and i am looking for a good food plot that will last for about 2-3 years. i dont know how good the soil is. they are going to be smal food plots for me and my dad about 30 yards both ways. what should i do and what should i get.
I would suggest clover or alfalfa. Clover is my favorite and if you can do a soil test you can go out to home depot and but one for 10 bucks i think. Clover should last any where from 3-7 years depending on the conditions and how healthy they are.
