My eyes always bug out when I watch John Schulz's video. Hitting them like Howard I believe it is called.

Well, I guess you need to decide if you want an instructional DVD or a hunting DVD. Rick Welch Volume 2 does have some of both, but the hunting portion isn't all that great.

I thought Master's of the Barebow was good. I haven't seen the video BobCo suggested but I have read the book. I guess I need to buy another stinking video, thanks alot Bob!! lol

For hunting, I thought Fred Eichler's video's were pretty cool.

Just a tip, Tradgang.com has a classifieds section for videos and books and you can find some good deals in there.

Straight Shooting or Hitting them Like Howard? The Hitting them like Howard Book really didn't impress me all that much. Straight Shooting was a very good read though. But it's hard to find a copy.

Hitting Them Like Howard Hill and I agree the book was not very good at all. I haven't found many instructional books that were very good. There was one I read from an olympic archer, but I forget what it was called. It was decent.

    VA,

    G. Fred is about the only one I haven't read. I've heard good things from it but I don't shoot his style and didn't figure it would help me much.

Some (most) of the stuff the Asbell puts out is very good. But some of the stuff really leaves me scratching my head such as the completely open hunting stance that he talks about.

I enjoyed "Bowhunting October Whitetails", it has some good info that I have put to use in the woods! Some of the best shooting I've ever seen!
