HAHA. On that page, they talk about a guy named Jack Eddy, that guy has a collection like you wouldnt believe. Right here from my home town.

 

Surprised a MI hunter like yourself has never heard of him. Read through his website and let us know what you make of his "World Record" debacle.

I think this one falls under the "pot-stirrer" designation. Either that, or the "internet smartass' one.

 

I did not see a pic of his (supposed) world record buck harvest photo. Anyone you know ever met this guy? He just looks like a bitter man.

Sorry....I meant to say I did not see any pics of that supposed world record buck on his website. I met a guy last year from MI that adamately argued that Mitch is a great guy who actually did harvest a WR buck even if the facts demonstrate just the opposite.

 

There are a lot of Mitch supporters here. I don't know what to think. The guy is a total whack job, and has done some shady things away from hunting. I don't think you can live in MI and not know someone that claims to know him or be friends-of-a-friend. Lots of stories floating around.

Deep down, I wish this buck was legit. I think his story (if true as he tells it) makes for a better world record deer than a guy that got lucky on a deer drive and had to shoot a deer three times.
