I'm starting to find out these aren't always the answer. My No Flash Cuddeback rechargeable's lasted 2 weeks this summer. Last winter they lasted almost 2 months In below zero temps. Weird! From the day I bought these they always say 75% charge when I put them In the Cuddeback after charging them. I don't get that part either.

My Reconyx on the other hand handles these rechargeable's awesome. Last winter I used just one set of battery's. The camera was out for almost 3 months In below zero temps. They got down to 70% and took at least 1500 pictures In that times. It was probably many more then that, I don't remember for sure. So far this summer no problems In the Reconyx either. After I get these charged and put In my Reconyx they usually say about 90%.

What's all of your experiences with these rechargeable's?

that would be a good question, maybe certain trail cams handle rechargable batteries better. The batteries could be too over powering for certain cameras? That would be a good study?

I can vouch for Schultzy's experience with rechargeable batteries. I have had two different Cuddebacks:hater: (an Excite and a Capture IR) that used batteries faster than I could buy them or charge the second set. But I have a Moultrie and a Reconyx that rechargeables last forever in, the same batteries I used in both Cuddes.

Kind of a secret for all the Moultrie users out there is the fact that you can buy battery reducers which make it so you can use AA batteries in place of D batteries. These are very similar to the reducers you can buy from Reconyx to make it so AA batteries can be used in C size slots. AA lithium or rechargeable batteries last longer than any alkaline will.
