Had a couple chances to get on the water recently with some good friends. Weather hasn't been the best, but I can handle mid 20 air temps. It was 3 when we started yesterday which was a little chilly, but not too bad.
Single digit temps, snow and ice? Sure, no problem! :D Thanks...all of these photos were taken with a Canon XTi DSLR. Many of the photos in my gallery were taken with a Canon Powershot S3 point and shoot. I mostly wade and don't like to carry the DSLR when wading, but we put the drift boat in the last two outings.
Some really nice steelheads you grow up there. I just haven't gotten out this winter. Too much else going on. Last time we went was just after Thanksgiving. You're a spey rod man. Nice water you got there.
I'm just taking a wild guess here, but I'm thinking that with the cold temp and lack of ice those fish came out of the PM?
Yeah, I want to get into flyfishing this year, but I'll stick to spring/summer fishing for now:p Vito, as always, the pictures were great. Makes me really want to get the camera out again. What lens are you shooting with? Standard 18-55?
