I bought Lawless about a week ago, pretty good movie and that's one TOUGH SOB to live through getting your throat cut and being shot. Not sure if you've seen Warrior, same guy was in that movie and was massive! They must have put him through a crazy workout to beef up like he did. Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter was actually pretty good too!

    meh...

I can't think of any great movies I've seen recently. Cabin in the Woods was a great satire on the horror genre. Ruby Sparks was a fun little indie film. Seeking a Friend For The End Of The World was pretty good, although it made my wife cry for an hour afterwards. Moonrise Kingdom was your typical quirky Wes Anderson film. The Campaign sucked.

I have not seen The Master or Lincoln yet, so I cannot comment on their greatness.

And I'm really looking forward to Djanjo Unchained, The Hobbit and Zero Dark Thirty.

I doubt he would actually be able to survive. Good for the movie though...

Ah Hooker, I just get a kick out of vampire flicks! I am looking forward to seeing Lincoln though and yeah Tom Hardy is pretty badass, maybe someday he will be on the same level of badass as Sam Elliot! Django Unchained looks pretty good as well, and Warm Bodies looks pretty entertaining. Have you seen the trailers for Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters? Another one I'm waiting for is World War Z, trailers looked pretty good for that one.

All 3 of these movies look horrible.

Don't get me started on the World War Z trailer.

Because remakes will almost always make money. The morons will flock to the theater because they are familiar with the story and already know if they will like the story going in. There is no risk for a remake.

I am waiting on Django Unchained too.

A fun movie to watch was Faster with the Rock. I liked it so much I got the disc.
A great movie is Man on Fire. Got the disc for this one too.

Has anyone watched Open Range? That is an excellent western/cowboy movie. Excellent.

I agree with Open Range being good. I heard Magic Mike was great, but the book was better.
