Thanks much Will, I'll relay the message!! Those so called "ugly" limb bolts are going on my recurve tomorrow. By the looks of It I shouldn't have to shorten the bolts any. You did an awesome job on them, very Impressed I am. Question for ya though, I'm a little worried about the sun hitting them and shining some. What would you do to dull them up If they do shine? I'm hoping they won't shine at all, I love em the way they are now.

By the way, waiting on your thread man!!! The story on the way there too!!!:D:D:p:p

Cool pics and story Steve. Thats a huge bear your dad killed!

Since no one else mentioned it, who has the bigger paws? The bear, your dad or bloodcrick?

    Steve,

Rub a little dirt/mud into them. With time they will tarnish. The shine will dissappear...
Don't worry too much. Animals see light bouncing off reflective things all day long. Besides, if they're that close to see it, they're already dead!

The story is coming. I actually started it this morning. I will have it up and ready to read by Friday. You know how it is when the boss gets back from a vacation!

Steve, congrats to your dad. I remember that story about your brother from last year. That would be something if that is the same bear.

I'm surprised that "guides" are allowed to guide on public land. I would think that the DNR would have a little more control over who does what on the public land. By my way of thinking you shouldn't be able to profit to something available to the public.
