I am stumped with all the choices...

I bought a Bushnell Trophy with "scan" at the PX last night (taking it back, man for a PX their prices stink...) found it online for around $165 or so. Doesn't seem very "water resistant" and I am concerned about that.

Anyway, any one have a sub $200 range finder they recommend?

I bought the Nikon Archer's choice and so far it has been outstanding, especially from a stand. I went out and was practicing and I had my buddy set up some 3D's and I practiced my ranging abilities. He used the rangefinder and I used the old best guess method. Then after that I went and used the range finder from the stand. I went hiking the other day after that just to try it out on the local wildlife and I have no problems with it. highly recommend it.

It's a little higher than you are wanting to spend, but I got a nikon archers choice shipped to my house in canada off of ebay for about 230 shipped. It's for my brother for christmas so I don't know how it works in the field, but it calculates angles for you and seems somewhat easy to use.
