So I drove an hour to my new spot that I put tons of hours and hard work into this summer to check my 3 trail cams and as Im walking through the plot towards my camera I notice...... ITS GONE!!!! Python lock still attached to the tree just snapped the back of the Bushnell T.C. right off!!! Talk about PISSED.... I got a real good feeling I know who it is also! Now I was hoping that my other two were still there.... they were alot more hidden so I didnt get to worried. Luckly my other two cams were still there but I pulled them down and figured the hell with it... I know for the most part whats there.... IM soooo freakin tired of people stealing my ****, i swear im gonna start putting another camera out hidding facing the main cam to catch people walking up to it! any way the one cam that has been producing showed a new buck but none of the old ones.... At least I know the main travel route their taking!

Im sorry to here about this. I had a treestand taken a few years ago. I loved that thing. It was an ole man climber and my hip had been bothering me so I just figured I leave it since I was coming back the following afternoon. There was another treestand in the area but it was quite a ways away. Well the next day both stands were gone. I thought they had both been stolen until the next year when that ladder stand was put back in the exact tree facing the exact direction. Pisses me off. I've never seen the guy hunt it but I hope I do this year so I can talk to the bastard. Great pics though!

Man, I'm really sorry to hear about your camera. It never ceases to amaze me that some think that they are just entitled to other people's property. I hope you find out who did it. Great buck by the way but little consolation.

    Blessings.......Pastorjim

Sorry to hear that man. It is definitely frustrating. 2010 season I had a cam stolen also, but was not too p*ssed off until my Dad entered the woods for the IL gun season opener on private property and he could not find his tree stand which was a brand (freakin') new 2 man ladder stand that I bought so I could hunt with my kids. He called me on the 2-way asking if I moved it. When the sun came up you could see the fresh drag marks thru the leaves to the field. I had bowhunted Tuesday or Wednesday that week with my daughter in the stand with me. It is really sad when we need to put cams on our cams or stands to find out who is stealing our equipment. In WI I have a camera each year that can be seen from the road and it has never been touched. I have gotten pics of people in Jeeps, 4-wheelers, dirt bike, people walking and even a lawn mover going down the logging path on private land, but not a single person has every taken the camera. Good luck finding the culprit. Keep an eye on CL and eBay plus your local classifieds. Hope you find them!

I guess we're lucky out here because we always see other hunters on the next property and we have cameras over there since they only hunt gun season. Goodluck on getting your camera back.

    Sorry about your cam.
This is the #1 reason I don't use them. I don't need pix of deer bad enough to roll the dice on one getting stolen.
