Here is a buck I was super excited about last year I thought he would easily make 150 once he shed but wow was I wrong. Once the velvet came off I think he would have been lucky to make low 140's. Just saying I love velvet bucks but it's way to hard to guess what they will be once they shed. Insert party pooper emoticon here . . .

I don't know if he made it and don't hunt that property anymore.

FYI MP I would have shot him given the chance.

If there's one thing I've learned from trailcams, it's that you definately can't tell much about a final score while they're wearing it. It's still a very good buck though.

    Blessings.......Pastorjim

That velvet does make them look huge sometimes. None-the-less, he still looked tag worthy!

Is it just me or am I seeing two different bucks? The second buck pic is far from 140's but the mainframe 9 with the split 2 is right about there. I know how ya feel about velvet tho Pat..... it can very easily turn a stud into a question mark

You sure that's the same buck from velvet to season??? - The bigger 7pt we had here moved out for no apparent reason when the rut just hinted at a start up and a different 8pt. we never had on cam moved in...the eight I shot and the eight in my 'I wish/hope they made it' post switched home territories as well at the beginning of rut.
