I always liked watching Ray Rice play but after seeing the video a linebacker cant hit him hard enough. Now he marries his girlfriend a day after getting indicted, which has to be so she cant testify. If he was half the player I doubt he even would be still on the Ravens team.
Yea bizarre story for sure. Never would have expected it...this is like an episode of Law & Order with the sudden marriage. In 2012, after Adrian Peterson tore his ACl and was expected to suck, ESPN stated that Ray Rice was THE BEST RB in the entire NFL. Boy how he was fallen since then. Up to 3 years in jail? Im sure he gets off easy now but, the NFL will ban him, maybe for an entire season.
I havent seen the video....is it bad? Also, if there is no victim to testify then there is no case....end of story.
Yeah the whole thing seems bizarre. I think his now wife wanted to drop the charges, but the DA wouldn't. I don't know why she married him. Maybe for what he has now. If he goes to jail, his football career is over. And any large sums of income may never again come his way.
