Rattlesnake bite

    The red/purple is just dead/bruised tissue and is slowly going away

    Dude, the ladies are going to dig a guy that survived a rattlesnake bite. I see good things in your future.

    You have to hope that you end up with some sort of scar out of this. It would enhance the story about the time that you were carrying a 250 lb. deer out of the woods on your shoulders and were attacked by a 9 foot rattlesnake.

    Glad you are going to be okay Max.

    As for the scar, the doctor said that the tissue covering the blister would dry up and slowly fall off with a scab underneath that would eventually go away to leave new tissue. So a pretty gnarly scar seems to be in my future.

    So, my son was up in the mountains today and crossed paths with this guy... He was fortunate to hear and see him before getting too close. [​IMG]

    I HATE SNAKES... all kinds - poisonous or non-poisonous! Even photos of snakes makes my skin crawl.

    Another update. The blister ended up popping this morning and the skin fell off. Looks like a very large regular blister at this point and started to scab over. Hopefully it's gone pretty soon!
