I hope you're rebounding well. Make sure you or any family members who open the hospital/doctor bills are sitting down...my bet is it will be 6 digits left of the decimal.

Will the PT include exercises like putting on boots before you go walking where there are venomous snakes?

(Sorry - couldn't resist.) Glad you're healing okay.

Holy Crap! Wow man that looks like it hurt. I'm glad to see you got to the hospital. What was the X on top of your foot for? And I've got to ask what was the bite like, did it hit you hard or was it just that fast and done?

Hey man heal up and get back out there. We will say a prayer for ya. And maybe could I recommend some snake pistol ammo. They make cool wallets, and taste like chicken:p

The x was just a reference point so they could measure the swelling in a consistent spot. As for the pain it felt like I got hit in the foot with a bat then lit on fire.

    Glad you are doing better.

How long from the time you got bit until the time you received medical attention?

Since my uncles house had no cell service it was about 20 minutes to cell service at which point we met up with an ambulance. And then it was about a 5 minute ride to the hospital.

Quick update. This is what my foot looks like today. Began walking on my own now after physical therapy and the pain is mostly gone.[IMG]
