On a scale of one to ten how did your season go and why? This is YOUR rating, not what someone else might think of your season.
I have to give mine an 8. I hunted at least one sit every week since the first weekend of October. I learned so much more about the land I hunt. ( Thanks gri22 for help with terrain features). I saw from stand,(without a shot opportunity), more than one mature buck. A first for me while bowhunting. I patterned one mature buck and sighted him 7 times. (again without a shot opportunity), 3 times inside of 30 yards. I killed 2 does for my freezer, one with the Marquis and one with my Kanga longbow,(another first), from the ground.
I shared camp with friends and family and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Bow season ended 1/2 hour after sunset last night.
I now have two weeks of late muzzleloader season and I will try to kill the buck I have been seeing regularly at a creek crossing. I'll keep ya'll posted on that.

    9...and I ate my tag.

I was on stand more this year than ever before. I saw and passed, more deer this year than ever before. I had my bow at full draw a 4 times and the shot just never developed how I wanted. So I would say 9, great season just no deer in the back of the truck, that would have been a 10.

A 6 for me. I took 3 does but have not had a shot at a nice buck. I should have had a 15 yd. shot at a bruiser, but got down early back in Nov. to move a stand........big mistake at the wrong time it turned out.

I give my season a 2. Wouldn't even rate that high except I did kill 2 turkey and saw the biggest buck I've ever seen. Aside from that though it has totally sucked. Totally.

2 just for effort. I sat just about 300 hrs with only one shot on a shooter. I botched it:mad:. Never did get a doe in front of me.:( I stuck arrows in 1 turkey last spring, 2 squirrels, 2 grouse, 1 pheasent and a bunny. My two sons ate 4 rifle tags and 4 smoke pole tags and I ate my two archery tags. By far the worst year in 28 of them.:(:(:(

Starting to nibble on my buck tag, but I will give my season an 8. Saw the most bucks I have ever seen from stand, passed more legal bucks than ever, and screwed the one good opportunity on what would have been my personal best up, but that's hunting. Killed two doe's and shared some awesome hunts with friends and family.

I'll give myself an 8. Usual effort put in and this time paid off for me. One of the best hunts of my 21 years of hunting on the buck i killed. Passed up several 1.5 some 2.5's. Took a couple does. Saw one other mature absolute stud. Saw some pretty intense rutting activity which is always cool. Saw 2 decent bucks fighting which I don't see that often. And most important I learned an awful lot to make me better for next year. Overall good season for me. (except the day I forgot my quiver)

9 if I would of wacked one then a 10 would of been in order.
Why a 9 well had some great text and pict mail with fellow BHC members on stand
and I had a pretty damn good time. Not to mention all the tongue sticking out pics lol
So no deer with a bow but no biggie. I got me one with a gun this year.
Also the BHC team i was on made it very enjoyable so thanks team.

Just to add I also spent quite a bit of time with 2 nub bucks that I filmed a few times.

Not sure. I had a bunch of encounters with a particular nice 150ish Inch buck. Had him figured out fairly well but It just wasn't meant to be I guess. Ended up getting myself a nice late season doe a few days before the season closed. A 10 would be a perfect score for a season, my season wasn't perfect but It wasn't far from It either. I'll go with an 8.

I give myself a 5. I killed my first out of state deer (doe) but ate all my Texas tags and my Oklahoma buck tag. I did get within shooting distance of some nice young bucks but no shooters. I got out of my stand to early twice this seasonand have been kicking myself ever since. Both times I got on the ground only to see one of the mature shooters I was after headed my way. I also got some alright scouting done on my Oklahoma place but not as much as I'd have liked to. It was a hard season. I put in the effort and hours, I just didn't get the results I was hoping for. Overall I learned a lot and I'm ready to take a break before we start shooting fish

Perfect, love It T!! Rob kept me In tune with his bear sightings, he had some funny texts regarding his bears. Bob (Gr8) did the 1st beer bet for the 1st buck with myself, Rob and the Preach. Funny thing was the day he made the bet he won the bet. ;) It sure was fun getting to know these guys, had a blast! Looking forward to them Tony!!

I would give my sesason an 8. I killed a buck and 2 doe. It would have been a 10 if my buck had been the 10pt I got on my trail cam. I'm still trying to kill a late season doe.

I give my season a solid 9. I got my first Halloween buck. Not my biggest buck (126 7/8) but he was the biggest I seen this year on stand which was bittersweet. Harvested a total of 4 doe, one harvested in December from the ground, something else I've never done before either. The only thing holding me back was harvesting a mature buck after rifle season which is definitely a goal of mine next year.

I have to go with a 9.5. 3 deer between bow & rifle. 1st P&Y wall mount. Plenty of time in the woods. Huge leaps in understanding how the deer are using the area...

Now I just need to get my wife on a deer in 2010......

.... and find 'The Beast'! :D

10 for me. No deer taken. I had shot opps but passed. I bought my own land and am quite pleased with the deer that roam it. I had the time of my life up there this year.

I rate mine a solid 9. If it wasn't for a couple of of trespassers it would have been the best season ever!!!
