Hey guys, has anyon here been using a good rangefinder that they're happy with? I'm looking to stay 200-275$ range. So far I like the bushnell with arc. Has anyone had a chance to use this one or any others?

All I can add is that I have a Nikon 440 range finder that was given to me as a gift probably 8 or so years ago and the batteries are still good! I don't know how this is possible, but it's true. It's in your price range (pun). I just use it to range objects at various distances for reference, not to range a deer, when I should already be getting prepared to take a shot.

I usually guestimate my distance pretty well. I have a redfield rangefinder that doesnt have angle compensation. How much of a difference does the angle comp. Make?

    Nikon archery.

I bought and tried many others for money and went back to the Nikon.

I have a bushnell with arc , so far I love it but it's the only one I've owned! It never has failed me . I have noticed that if you Goin try using it for long range 150yd plus it's somtimes hard to get a reading but I only use it for bow so it does fine !

I will say, the very biggest issue I have with mine, and the only reason I would change currently (I have a Bushnell arc 800 I think) is for a backlight. It sucks trying to range things in the predawn light, then looking at the sky to try and make out your numbers...

I have a Nikon Archer's Choice that I have had for 4 years now. It works great and I have yet to change the battery.

I have a Nikon pro staff 3. It works great imo. I also don't the you need any of that angle compensation stuff. I think it's largely a gimmick.

I have a Bushnell with Arc and I really like it. I'm very happy with the company. Last year, well after my rangefinder was out of warranty, it had some hiccup/bug thing where it stopped working or reading anything. I sent it back and they covered all costs and had it back to me relatively quickly. I'll buy another Bushnell when I'm done with this one. I will add that I don't have the backlight feature and I wish I did. It would make things much better.

I went through WGI HAlo ones, and then the cheam simmons one and they were all junk. This year I picked up the NIKON Aculon for only 159.99 and couldnt be happier. No angle compensation which is non issue. A friend of mine just picked up the little vortex one and that is nice too but honestly, does nothing my nikon doesnt do inside of 200 yards
