Has anyone had any experience with a rangefinder bow sight, such as the Garmin Xero Ai1 Pro? They're so expensive, but look like they could be a total game changer. I'm currently shooting a plain jane Trophy Ridge 5-pin sight.
My wife bought me the Oracle 2 for my birthday, and I have to say its awesome. I've been shooting with it now for over a month and it's extremely accurate. I did do some fine tuning adjustments to dial it in once I did the original set up, but its spot on. I shoot at least 10 arrows everyday, and have really been satisfied with the purchase. If I had any complaints it would be the price ($600), and it is a bit heavy, which takes some time to get use to. Other than that, I'm excited to hunt with it this fall as I had 2 misses this passed year bc of the deer moving from one spot to the next and not getting a range on it before I shot. Hoping this will alleviate that problem as it will just re range it when I press the button. Hope this helps!
Keep in mind that on a foggy fall morning, it probably won’t work. Lazes don’t like fog or rain. I’ll stick with my Spot Hogg.
I have the Xero A1i. One of the best investments I have made. Totally accurate and takes all the guesswork out. Great sight picture as well as there are no pins in the way.
No maybe not the Range finder. However if that’s the case then neither would a stand-alone range finder work either. So it would be wrong to imply that “ sticking with your spot-Hogg” is any more functional in that situation then the Garmin.
No, but been saving up for one. I think it could pay off big on the right situation. And that one giant buck makes it worth the cost.
I think the same way you do but I’m trying to avoid having to put down those Binos and pick my bow up. If that buck comes in fast sometimes he will catch you moving and then it’s a done deal.
