rangefinder binos

    I am looking to simplify what I am carrying next season and thought a pair of range/bions were a good idea does anybody know how well they work and some of the cost effective models . Thanks

    The only ones I know of are the Leica Geovids and I wasn't too impressed with the ranging function on the pair I used for a summer at work. We actually used my $300 Bushnell rangefinder to get our distances rather than the $3000 Leicas.

    Most rangefinders these days come in 6x plus. You can almost use them as binos. I hunt out west where spot and stalk is the only way we hunt so having a good range finder, binos, and a spotting scope are essential. There's no packing light out here.
