I just ordered the Wildgame innovations XRT from sportsman guide just because i didnt want to spend a fortune on them. I heard good things about them.

Nikon's 550 is discontinued but you can probably find it online somewhere for that price. I have and love it!

I purchased the Nikon Riflehunter 550 on sale, about $60 off a year or so ago. I love it.

I just picked up a Nikon Archers Choice for $50.00 off at Cabelas. Normally 279.99, got it for 229.99. The Prostaff 5 is also on sale for $179.99. I really liked the Leupold RX800i, but it was well outside my price range at $399.99.

Bought one 4 years ago and it's still going strong. Has been beaten around and accidently washed. The battery lasted me 3 years and was used a lot.
