there are some really good rangefinders out there but most are $200 or better the nikon 8369 is a good one its about $180 maybe less and its at walmart its 500 yrds good deal and does the same job
I would reccomend the Nikon or Leupold ones for the quality-price aspect of it. Depending on what you plan to do with it, just strickly bowhunt and maybe gun hunt a little you really dont need all that big of one. But maybe if you plan to be hunting where you need to know a couple hundred yard ranges you would need a pretty high power one.
I've personally used the Nikon Archer's Choice. It is pretty useful. Just don't get distracted by the awesomeness of the incline/decline compensator.
Thank you so far guys. I guess I should have stated that I will only be using it for bowhunting. Sorry I wasn't more specific.
I have used two brands of range finders. I am using the Nikon 800 right now an have no plans to change. They are fast and are on target 99% of the time an that is what I expect.
