Range finders... worth it??

    Check out the WGI brands! I have the Xray600, owned and used for about 2yrs. I haven't changed the battery since purchased. My Opinion on this rangefinder, its not the best out there, but it does the job! AI technology, display could be better, but for the money you looking to spend, can't beat it!:bash:

    A rangefinder is a must imo and although I don't feel you need to spend a fortune on one I do feel you get what you pay for. I continue to rock a Vortex rangefinder and am very pleased with it. Do your research as all glass is not created equal!

    I'm hunting in the east, all from tree stand or blind - we are not allowed to stalk so I have no need for an expensive RF, I use a Halo RXT and it has worked excellent for me.

    Just curious...are you restricted from stalking by state law or is this a rule put in place by the landowner to preserve a hunting spot?
