For many years I have used the Leupold RX-750 because it has both a bow and rifle mode with LOS. Well it finally went bad. My question is, when bow hunting I've killed 100% of my bucks at 25 yds or under. The areas I hunt really don't offer much farther shots from my tree stands. Do I really need the LOS option? At these short distances would it be safe to purchase a brand that only has a rifle mode with LOS.

I think it all depends on your comfort level in your abilities and what you use the range finder for. I could be wrong but I believe LOS mode is Line of sight, so if that's the case, you already were not using any angle compensation. If you're just marking general ranges from your stand, any basic range finder will do. Just practice with what you buy and get to know your set up.

Should have use the letters TBR instead of LOS, my bad. I use the TBR but from what I see, Leupold might not incorporate that into their new line for bow hunting.
