As a Titans fan, I'm just hoping things don't fall apart in the locker room now. Could be VERY interesting on the field, especially when Kenny Britt returns from his injury.

as someone said last night, moss has the chance to be the first person in history to have caught a td pass for 3 teams in one season... a dubious distinction at best...

Throw Randy the ball and win some games, thats all he needs to be happy. The Vikings are a mess, he knew that team was going nowhere.

But the dumb loser hasn't been running the patterns. He doesn't try. He takes most of the game off. Most everything is half speed for him. He's toast. He's done. And the Titans will regret picking up that salary.

No doubt he loafs. But he can still catch the deep ball and seperate when he wants to.

I'd rather have an average player who tries to separate EVERYTIME. He's an overpaid burden for everyone. Oh wait, he's only had 2 teams dump him this year. Maybe the 3rd times a charm.... NOT. If he screws this one up I doubt he'll find anyone willing to take the chance. He almost didn't this time. One taker.

He's not that good anymore to even be talking about. There are 76 wide receivers that are statistically better than he is this year. Can he still be dangerous? Yeah on occasion I guess he can be. He is still fast and talented. I wouldn't go changing my entire defensive scheme for him though.

How many of those 76 would you take in your fantasy draft (or equivalent) over him?

    That stat is useless.

Exactly his problem, when he wants to. He'd have to be pretty dumb or have an even bigger ego than everyone thought to act like he normally does in TN. Even from his cloud he has to see that no one else wanted him. Hopefully that will be enough for him to smarten up.

Ummm probably all 76 of them right now. It's all about numbers and stats (NOW). Doesn't matter what a player did in the past or is capable of when he feels like playing. Why would I start Randy Moss to get me 5 points a week when there are 76 others putting up better numbers (over half of them WAY better numbers). I'm no football guy but I'm guessing there was a pretty good reason why there was only one claim for him on waivers.

Are you a football guy too? Impressive.

IF Moss wanted too he could be no different then his rookie year In Mn. When he wants to play great the guy can get It done. The problem Is, he don't want to anymore I don't think. Look at that pass that Favre threw to him In the end zone that he dropped. His effort sucked trying to catch that ball. In 1998 that ball was his easily because he had the drive.

This Is no disrespect to you Titan fans but I hope he flops It In TN too and no one ever signs the guy again. He should get what he's got coming.

Even if his skills are diminishing, he still demands double coverage. I dont' remember the exact number, but this season it was around 85% of pass plays Moss was double covered. There aren't a lot of receivers in this league that get that kind of attention. He can help a team in that aspect. He takes another guy out of the box, and off other receivers on almost every play.

If you want to throw a deep ball to receiver in one-on-one coverage, Moss still has to be one of the best in the game. Thats why they still double team him.

No. I'm not a football guy. But, if you're telling me there's 76 receivers you'd rather have on your football team.....going into a big game this weekend.....

................then it's pretty clear you're not one, either. There's millions of reasons why teams didn't jump to claim Moss off waivers. Toss in the fact that you'd only be assured of his services for the rest of this seasons (and weigh that WITH your millions of reasons).....and he's not the most attractive acquisition. Does that make him a lesser player than the '76'? You really believe that he is.....and you're making fun of MY football knowledge?

I know a lot of guys that don't try 100% at their job all the time, but I would never wish they fail and/or lose their job. Including myself. I'm typing this at work right now. Just saying.
