    So who is?

    I have

    #1 Jerry Rice
    #2 Lynn Swann
    #3 Fred Bilitnikof (spelling??)

I can think of others but these guys, day in day out were hard to beat. Moss doesn't make my top ten list.

He had the skills to be the best ever, but no he's not the GOAT.

I think Moss could have been the best ever. That is IF he had something between the ears. He certainly had all the talent in the world and IMO more talent than Rice. Goes to show you that talent isn’t everything.

Calvin Johnson is at least as good right now as Moss was in his prime IMO.

He is easily one of the top 10 best WRs. He was unstoppable when he was with the Vikings.

Moss was unstoppable with the Vikes. Had he kept his ego In check and was a team player he would've been the best IMO. No doubt he had the skills to be the best. I laughed when I heard his comments the other day. More ego tripping once again. He's an Idiot.

He could have been but like others have said his ego and his inability to be a team player made him be in the top 20.IMO

    This isn't even a debate.

Jerry Rice is not only the best receiver ever...many feel he is the best PLAYER all time in the NFL

Randy Moss was however the best deep threat the game has seen when he was in his prime. Calvin Johnson is good but doesn't have even close to the speed Moss had.

There is more to being a reciever than 1-2 deep balls per game. Calvin Johnson plays every down and catches a lot of passes. RM actually tried very few plays per game.

Its actually surpising, or not, how many wr in the league dont do much more than run a step or two when the pass or run isnt coming their way. Calvin (and Brandon Marshall) play on every down because they throw it to him on every down and he has to, 205 targets this year! Personally I would not burn myself out every play if I knew the pass wasn't coming to me.

Moss could have been but didnt have the drive to be the best. Moss was however the only reason Dante Cullpepper had any success in this league whatsoever.

    Whoa.

Lynn Swan? Your joking right? There are 25 better recievers in the game today, thats just the truth.

Belintnikof? Are we just going down memory lane now? At the TIME...yea. But overall? Uhhh no.

Moss not in your top 10? Thats a joke too right? He's statistically the 2nd greatest ever AND thats without 3 different MVP's throwing him the ball for his entire career. He had a few years with Brady and one with Favre.

    Credibility = 0

I just listened to Chris Carter on ESPN who's a top 5 receiver In my books all time. He thinks Moss Is 2nd to Jerry Rice.

Quits on routes... whines when he doesn't get thrown to. I agree he could have beeen the 2nd best... but there are just way too nany variables.

Bottom line, Jerry Rice, Swanny and F.B. teams won games. Not a trip down memory lane. I just prefer players who shut up and do their jobs like the Barry Sanderrs, Walter Peyton s and Darryl Johnsons.

Maybe you're too young but did you ever see Lynn Swann play? The game was different back then. Teams actually ran the ball then and receivers could be hit anywhere the defender wanted to hit them and as hard as they wanted to hit them. It was amazing to watch the catches he would make in traffic, knowing he was about to get clobbered. Today's receivers would cry if the QB threw the ball in some of the places Bradshaw and Stabler would throw it.

Based on his stats; right? Are there things that stats are not kept on? Like being on a team that throws the 40 times per game etc...

It had nothing to do with stats.

Moss is WITHOUT A SHRED OF DOUBT the most gifted receiver to ever play. If you can't see this, then you don't know football. And your argument is mute to somebody who does. Its really that simple
