Please, as always add your random thoughts as well.

As great as it is to fill your tag early, it sucks just as hard as it is great.

I am looking forward to shed season.

I am going out to IL shed hunting at Dave Bols place again this winter.

Speaking of Bols, his Dad knocked down a slammer in gun season.

I wish Mobow would have shot that buck he sent me the text pic gun kill.

I really need to look hard for some new land next season.

I might go out for opening day of gun season this year, will be the first time in 8 years.

There are still acorns all over the place in the timber.

I cannot decide on a manikin for my buck this year.

Why are gun hunter numbers declining while archer numbers are at an all time high and growing every year?

Did the other big boy make it ??
If he did... will he make it throught the rest of hunting season ??
If he does... will we find his sheds ??
If he makes it... we find his sheds... will I kill him next fall ??
Is it too early to start scouting for next fall ?? Guess it doesn't matter cause I am starting tomorrow.

Wonder when I will get my buck back ??

Why does Scott hate Nickleback ??
What his facination with the 80's is ?? He was barely knee high to a grasshopper at the time. Other then meeting/marrying my wife... shooting my first buck with bow in the early 80's... it pretty much sucked from what little I remember of it. Music sucked... not much for deer... worked way too much of it trying to pay the bills. The 90's weren't much better and the music was worse then the 80's.

Wish Troy ( shed33 ) would kill the beast he is after.

Haven't heard from Teejay in a while. Wonder if he is froze to a tree ??

    Tim

I haven't killed a buck in over 2 years. I'm starting to think its not going to happen this year, either.

My sons have had a great deer season. No archery kills yet, but they have learned alot this year and each had a shot. Seeing their faces after the shot= priceless. Both clean misses, we are working on that..

    I'm with Timmy. The 80's sucked. :D

Wonders if buckeye is going to steal all the sheds at Balls property again this year?? :)

I really miss my dad this year. Hunting w/o him just isn't the same.

Wonder if I'll hunt Kansas this year since it's part of my new sales territory?

What will I do if I kill another big elk? The one spot I had for one is now taken... Mixed blessing there...

I have a loving wife who puts up with a LOT of hunting from me... but I STILL hate having to spend the little of time I do out of the woods with her family on holiday weekends... :(

How the heck can anyone enjoy the winter down here in places like Mobile, AL where it's currently 81 degrees?! We picked out the inlaw's Christmas tree in cargo shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops.

I REALLY need to get on the ball and board all my fur from last season so I can send it all in at once and have it all garment-tanned for display down in the man-cave...

I'm simultaneously a bit apprehensive but mostly excited about doing a LOT more hunting in brand-new places next year that I've never set foot on... WAY too many people have discovered my most treasured places that I've hunted for the last decade...

Should I buy a gas or a diesel 3/4-ton truck to pull my travel trailer with that we're going to buy later in the year? Gas is currently .60 cents a gallon cheaper around here, but the diesel would probably get better gas mileage pulling the trailer and not lose as much power in the Rockies when we take it elk hunting...

What the heck did I do with that one Summit hang-on that I can't find? Is it still up a tree somewhere in the woods and I've forgot about it, or did it get stolen?

Should I sit in the stand all day tomorrow? If so do I drag a decoy out and test it out for my first time? Do I rattle or just grunt/bleat call all sit?

Do I really need to upgrade my SR-71 to the new K&K bow?

Why do the Calgary Flames suck so bad.

    edit: new thought;

Is Huck and Youngfart going to come to my province on a week long hunting trip and kill a bigger whitetail than I ever will? probably. haha

Its sucks when you're furnace needs to be replaced.

Is carbon monoxide really that bad?

    Should I buy a canary?

How many will Michigan lose by tomorrow?

Would I really want MSU to go to the Rose Bowl? Man, I would never hear the end of that. None of my friends are lame enough to be OSU fans, so at least I wouldn't have to hear about it in person.

-Why can't I seem to get into fishing as much as I do hunting, even though I'm more successful with the latter?

-How many trail cameras will I build this winter?

-Why are old people such bad drivers?

-What will I do if the piebald 8 walks out Monday morning and I have my gun in hand rather than my bow?

-When will I get to purchase my own land?

    -Do I really need a $6000 mower?

-The stitches in my back itch and hurt at the same time.

-Having a mountain stone gas fireplace to sit in front of while browsing BH.com is awesome:nana:

Why do I feel guilty for thinking that its going to be a burden on me to take my grandfather rifle hunting on Monday with me when I know that I wouldn't have it any other way....after all, he put up with me being a burden for so many years.

Which on of my "bad gang" gun hunters will bag a buck on Monday?

How many trail cameras will MGH build this winter, and how many of what he does build will be for me?

Why didn't I buy more .40 ammo at Gander today? I'm sooo going back tomorrow.

I'm ready to start working on my new land possibilities for next year.

When will the deer start hitting my turnips? Will there be any left for the late Archery season?

    Why can't I just own a 200 acre farm?

Will I die a wife induced death over this new house in the Spring?

I think I'll have some milk and cookies.

Thanksgiving leftovers may be my favorite part of the holliday.

Why over the last 3 days have I seen more deer while driving on the road, than any other time this year.

I wonder if Flyer or Dropkick have shown up for a trail cam picture over the last week.

I wonder if either of them are even still alive after the gun season.

It's been 10 days since I have hunted with my bow, and I can't wait to get back out there tomorrow.

Do I really want to hold my last gun tag, waiting for a buck, or should I just shoot another doe.

I really hope Flyer is still running around, and he slips up when I move in closer on him Sunday morning.

Is my motivation to trophy hunt the rest of the season due to the fact that I am sick of butchering deer and my freezer's full?

If a 1 1/2 year old comes by next year and I do not have venison in the freezer ,,, will I shoot him?

Will I ever truly understand spine?

Will NYBowhunter EVER kill a doe again?

Where has Washington Hunter and MeanV been?

I wish I had a good story on the stitches, but I just had two moles removed...nothing exciting.

As for the no kids, I'm enjoying it for now:D My brother and sister-in-law just had their first last week, and we just found out my sister and her husband are expecting as well. So, my parents have plenty of grand kids to keep them satisfied for now:tu:

Hopefully your wife doesn't kill you over the house this spring, I need an indoor range next winter..:woot:

How long until I get my next archery buck?

Do I want to try for a doe yet this year?

When the next time I eat at Quaker Steak and Lube?

I would like a new bow but when will that be possible?

What will Germ's next story be?

Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?

Is making an "O" sign with their hands after a touchdown really unsportsmanlike for OSU?
