Weird time of year post turkey season, months from deer season again. What is everyone upto to fill in the gap? I escaped the southern tornado scare last week. The one that killed the Alabama swimmer dissipated about 5 miles from our house and it was headed right for us. We are smack dab in that red cone lol... Reason #97 I'm ready to leave Birmingham. Also got to make it up to the Kentucky Derby this past weekend, held some great company and even won $245! This guy didn't enjoy the derby as much as me though, this is still 4 hours til Derby even started... In the front lawn of a Starbucks lol. Finish my last class ever Friday, heading to the beach for a week, then start working full time for free while paying tuition for a year starting June 1st. Nice little scheme they have going there. Paying almost $27/hour to work haha. What are you fellas up to heading into summer?
I'm gonna enjoy my summer break from school, and work construction to pad my bank account again. Taking each semester off of work really drains the funds in a hurry! Also, going up north to the Monster Raxx GTG, that should be a good time. Other than that, just scouting deer and shooting/catching fish most likely!
I'll be hunting turkeys this weekend up in Wisconsin. Other that that I'm trying to finish this semester and then I will start at gander mountain that just opened up. I also have a GF to keep happy, that not always easy with both of us being so busy lately. So we hang out when we can. Like I said though, finishing the semester had been rough and now finals start. Just odds and ends. Finishing up a few projects around the house. Our turkey season JUST opened on Saturday, so doing some of that. Just joined a men's slow pitch league (first game is tonight) so that will keep me busy. Bought a new flyrod and reel hoping I will get out a bit more once turkey season dies down. We've been out kayaking once (weather has been too cold). Other than that, just working on food plots, checking cams, hanging out with friends, and looking forward to school being out in a month :D
Stuck in a hotel at the other end of the world waiting for our contract to start... Going home next week and just in time for Bear season to open. Will try to get this big guy that I missed last year (L/H elbow moved in line with the lungs)... see red circle of scar two days after the shot...
Working and traveling for it a LOT. I just opened a new office in Irvine last Thurs. I have two guys on the ground there and plans are to be at 6 by July. I'll be traveling quite a bit more moving forward spending one week a month out there as we build the team out. When I'm not working I'm spending time with my kid. I can't believe it but he turns 1 tomorrow. I took the day off work, we are going on a family hike and when done we will come home do to the standard 1 y/o cake smash. I'm sure we will have a ton of pics. When I'm not working or spending time with my wife and kiddo, I'm usually on the boat or working on it. Just installed a jack plate on the boat and completely re-rigged the entire motor including a new main wiring harness to the console. Finally got some pics uploaded onto photo bucket. I have done a little bit of turkey hunting, killed one and put Treehopper and Treehopper Jr. both on turkeys. Me and my buddies double: I have been working on Tuesday and Thursday, after my one morning class. While taking tin off an old roof, we found a nest of squirrels. 4 total, and man those things are loud! Since the house was getting dozed in, we rescued them in a rubber boot Also worked some cows Burned some pasture Pulled a 350 out of an S-10, motor wouldn't turn over. Now we know why! #7 and #8 both were thrown through

Busy, busy, busy with my daughters softball team. We play league games on Mondays, Pitching lessons on Tuesdays, Team practice on Thursdays and tournaments on Saturdays and Sundays. Hard works paying off though. We won our first full tournament of the season last weekend. During the bracket play, my daughter pitched the semi-finals and the championship game. We won 1-0 and 8-1. She has a .878 ERA over 41 innings. Other than that, not much. Getting ready to start food plotting in my off minutes. After pitching lessons tonight, I'm heading over to one of my friends to till up a couple acre plot for him. I'll probably be working on that well into the darkness.

I am still recovering from the survery I had on March 3rd just waiting on the next one on June 9th. Sucks it is on my oldest sons 5th birthday.
