Man, the deer are hungry this time of year. They have found a way to get to some fresh browse The DNR is feeding deer throughout the state. Turns out they are everywhere but our zone and the neighboring zone (118 &117) because they are worried about the moose more than the deer. The cool thing is they will be trapping some whitetail to put GPS collars on them to coincide with their huge moose study. The deer (all does) will be tracked for 2 years. Sounds like they are going to be trapping this weekend are have asked to access our land. Should be interesting to help in the process, and hopefully get some neat photos
Yup, here's the write up I did on it http://forums.bowhunting.com/bowhunting-talk/60689-trapping-whitetails-minnesota.html
