After missing a bird early in the season, Phil got a chance at redemption on a soggy day! Wet birds aren't much to look at but they sure taste just as good! 1 1/4" spurs are nice also! All around a great hunt and a nice bird! Hope you enjoy the video!

Glad you got to use your tag. Last day here today. I hunt for the fun of it and to me turkey hunting when it is raining, cold, windy and just plan miserable is not fun. 42° this morning but talking warmer later. Might go out this afternoon and see what I can scare up before I put all the gear away. this season was a complete blow out with all the rain. Mud everywhere and low ground is standing water.

It is definitely rough hunting in the rain! We love it so much we just try to get out every day possible. However, in a blind it isn't terrible and keeps you dry and the birds are a lot more predictable! We have one weekend left! Good luck to you!
