Rain!!!!

We just got 1/2" of rain in about 15 minutes! When I pulled the state radar up, there was one little storm in NW Iowa and the one that passed over here.

 

Getting a nice little thunder storm here in Mid MO right now, its definitely much needed!

 

Don't tease me now Justin...That means it should be here in about an hour. Sweet! My lawn is crunchy, but I feel much worse for the farmers.

 

Lots of thunder and lightning, hopefully no fires. Its been a steady rain for an hour or more now so it should help green things up a bit.

 

Hearing thunder now, but no rain yet. Hope its a real soaker!

Copehunt, I checked the radar. The storms are going backwards, headed mostly SW. Still dry as a popcorn fart here.

 

Weather.com has rain in the forecast till monday for Mid MO, hopefully they aren't lying :p

 

Yep, it was a big tease. Looked like a storm, sounded like a storm and then nothing. We watched it go south of us .

 

Maybe next time kiddo haha. Looked like Jeff City got a nice dumping.

 

Well we ended up getting a light rain here. Been coming down for maybe an hour. Not much, but better than nothing I guess.

 

I'm jealous it hasnt rained here in 2 weeks. It was suppossed to pour today but once again the weathermen were completely wrong after assuring us it would rain today!!!!

 

Don't be jealous, it hasn't rained in Missouri for at least a month it seems like haha.

 

I'm kind of glad I'm waiting till late summer to plant there would of been nothing growing in this heat!!!
