Has anyone tried using this stuff on their binos, or rangefinders?

i dont know about the new stuff or if they changed the formula on it, but i used it for about 2 weeks(this is about 5 or 6 years ago) in a cherokee i had, and it left a weird hard to remove film wherever the wipers didnt wipe.

I use it on my snowcross goggles all the time...zero issues...can't see why it wouldnt work on optics....take it off with some rubbing alchohol if it doesn't

No way I'd put that stuff on my pair of 600 dollar optics. I'm not sure if its different now, but from what I can tell its hard on the wipers on the truck. It supposedly eats them. Most optics, especially the high end stuff, have multiple coatings on the lens's to cut down glare, make them clearer, etc. I wouldn't trust the rain x to not eat that coating off them.

I'm with mm88 on this one. Rain X eats Plexiglass. I wouldn't trust it on my $800 optics lens coatings. Nikon makes a fog shield wipe that works great at stopping glasses from fogging up without damaging the lens coatings. I'm super anal about keeping my optics clean and clear and this stuff has worked well. Just be sure that you have properly dusted and cleaned the lenses before wiping or even touching them with ANYTHING.
