rain and wind!!!!

    So guys Igot in my stand about 3pm it was raining not real bad or anything but by 4:30 the had stop and started few time and when the rain stopped the wind would pick up( in my false) at least bit I'm telling you I was frezeeing by the time I got out of the woods and I did have a rain coat on but man the things web do for hunting Lol and didn't see nothing at all!!!

    Those are the days I calmly pick up and leave. If I'm uncomfortable, chances are I'll miss or rush whatever I see.

    My husband tends to say I'm a fair weather hunter. I like to think I'm just being really cautious.

    I've noticed that at this time of year, before the frosts hit, I tend to get colder easier, especially in a damp rainy day. Its the humidity still in the air and not being used to the cold yet.

    People call me nuts, but I expose myself to the cold as much as I can, to get acclimated faster. Its helped. But yeah, those cold, damp rainy days can be a bugger some days.
