when you guys say bone, are actually talking about the scapula? because there a very few set ups that blow through both of those. cartledge yes, but the actual scapula (bone) that is a tough one. for any head/set up

2014 I shot a mature buck that weighed 237 dressed, I hit him square in the scapula with a Rage titanium the rage made it thru both scapulas. I counted my blessings after that shot and added another 25 grains to my arrow broad head combination.

I going to try to get my arrow weight to over 500 grains next year, shoot rages, killzones, and slick tricks. Im at 391 grains right now and I am not pleased with my penetration.

73# draw 29" draw length, 450 grain arrow. Never have checked the speed but it is hitting all the way hard.

Never used rage. From what I gather you are either madly in love with them or you hate their guts and wish for the end of their existence. Lol how can the spectrum be so big?

There are situations where I would not consider using a mechanical, I have also used fixed in the past.

I used Rage for years...never lost a deer with them....hated that they would open in my quiver...course that was with the rubber o-rings and not the shock collars. Switched to Killzone last year and really like that head. Next year probably going to Muzzy 3-blades because I'm tired of putting expensive heads through coons and groundhogs and ruining them.

there are a lot of people who have never shot them at a live animal and have passed judgement on them based on what others speculate who have not shot them either. ex.. an internet forum. I don't claim they are the end all be all, I like them, had nothing but good experiences with them. But no better than say a muzzy or slick trick. they worked well too. I will be honest and I will say that because I am not an awesome shot and things always happen to me due to my own fault most times, that the large cut of a Rage 2 blade has bailed me out more than once. So I choose the best option for me. Many folks would never admit this on an internet forum, but if you have not figured out by now, I am one who shoots straight, (not my arrow) pun intended. Just this season I lost a doe with the recurve shooting a 150 gr Magnus Stinger two blade, was it the broadhead? 100% absolutley not, it was me and i failed.

not one time. neither have I had them open prematurely in flight. With new shock collar they will not open without the proper amount of pressure. and that pressure is applied on impact of said animal.

That looks like a small deer and a big hole. How far did she run? I never had luck with them but I might try them again if my wasp heads fail, which I doubt.
