I've killed several deer with Rage broadheads and I'll say that not all Rage are equal. I've broken 2 out of 3 Hypodermics on shots and was very disappointed. On the other hand, I've had great success and no issues whatsoever with the original Rage 2- blade. On a doe I completely severed a rib on a quartering away pass through, clean kill. This was several years ago and the broadhead is still in use. Shot placement and angle of shot is vital, regardless of what broadhead you shoot.
Shot this buck last fall with a 2 rage broadhead and he went 30 yards and fell over. Double lung shot and I've never seen a deer bleed so much. My cousin who is color blind could see the blood plan as day and my wife even made a comment about it and she normally doesn't say much about the blood trail.
Fletch I can only take a guess you drive a Ford truck just by the arrogance you have in this thread. People who drive Ford trucks are more arrogance than people who drive Chevy's. That's my opinion just like your opinion is Rage sucks.
2015 Lariat crew cab. In fact, I need to make an appointment to get its first oil change. I used to drive a Chevy, but it had a lot of "mechanical" problems so I switched to something more reliable. Good move.
