Surely they could have tied the "It's like throwing an axe through an animal" comment in there somewhere, what with the caveman motif and all ...
I saw this on TV for the first time last night. I'm don't shoot Rage broadheads, but I thought it was a fantastic ad. I was wondering how long it would be before I saw it on the forums, and it was under 24 hours!
I edited my post to more accurately communicate what I was thinking. I have nothing against Rage broadheads at all. I thought I was paying them a compliment, but apparently not. My apologies if I offended you. After all, I shoot Grim Reapers.
These broadhead companies dont really advertise like the bow companies magnus( what i use) i only have seen one advertisement and uncle ted is the only tv personality i've seen use them but i will testify they are awesome and only cost around $20.00 a pack rage gets it done too! Funny commercial!
Funny stuff. Personally, I'll take it 1000 times out of a 1000 over Chuck telling me it's like throwing an ax through an animal. His agent and or publicist should be shot.
It wasn't a reference to you... It was a play on words of him being a Marine. "First to fight"... referring to the Marines being first to the front lines. In this case, he was the first to post. At least that's how I took his post.
I sure hope I misunderstood, Greg. I'd hate to think that I ticked someone off when I wasn't even trying.
Offended? nah... now, if you disparage my Gators, my Ford or my kids...then we will have issues (not necessarily in that order)
I've driven a Ford all my life and I have six kids and work at St. Jude, so we see eye to eye there, but I've gotta tell you, I'm a VOLS fan.
I dunno, Greg. I'm retired Navy and I'm not familiar with that phrase being used independently of the Marine's Hymn even though I did tours on three Gator Freighters. (Marine transport ships). Who knows? Maybe I just missed that one somehow.
hey, sorry... There is a cure for that however. Usually about the 3rd game of the year you wish you were a GATORS fan.
