I want to use rage and ive checked out there website. but i have a question, what keeps them closed? and why do they sell replacement o rings? does the o ring keep it closed or are they spring loaded. can you re-use them?

There is a small catch or lip on the back of each blade that gets pushed lightly under the o ring to keep the blades from sliding free.
It is also (according to rages advertising) acting as a shock suppressor when the blades hit bone the o ring helps absorb some of that impact so the blades don't break.

I have yet needed to replace an o ring on a Rage, and I have had absolutely amazing results using them.

However, seeing as you like the idea of big entry wounds and short blood trails I assume, the new G5 T3 should be checked out as well. I will probably be switching to them as they say you can shoot through mesh w-out worrying about the blades deploying.

    Hope this helps.
