for all those who shoot the new style heads with the new shock collars....

do you have to use them.... i have a lot of the rubber 0 rings from other packages of rage heads...

can the new heads perform by replacing the shock collars with new 0 rings....

has any one tryd, thanks for any thoughts.....russ

I do not think the old rubber O rings would work. I bought my first pack of Hypodermics in November and the shock collar actually comes from the bottom of the broadhead and you must align the backside of each blade into pre-cut slots on the collar, then finish tightening the head to the arrow.

Not a Rage fan here, except for turkeys, but the new collars seem to work so much better than the rings did and I don't see how they would work with the new heads.

I wouldn't try that. The new Rage broadheads come with extra shock Collars in the pack. The originals were designed for the O ring and the new ones are not shaped the same.
