I've never seen that before...is it being sold as an easier way to collect sheds?...

I don't see why they wouldn't work. You'd just have to make sure you keep filling it with feed.

I just pile up different sized sticks and small logs and poor corn down inside the pile. Works pretty good

My son has been showing me vids of these for about 3 days now, so we're going to make one and see how it works. Will post pics of setup and any sheds we get. Thx all

I got a buddy that has been doing this for YEARS only he simply puts some chicken fence out around several trees and places some corn around/inside the wire. He checks it every so often and has many many sheds in his shed :)

Just my two cents but chicken fence is probably the worst thing to use for an antler trap. If the deer manages to get its antler(s) stuck but they're not yet ready to shed - he could be stuck there for quite sometime and could hurt himself.

You just need something for the antlers to push up against and if they're ready to pop off they'll come off. Thats why bungee cords work well - they provide something to push up against but the deer won't get stuck. Even welded wire fence would be better than chicken fence because the openings are larger.
