Go get 'em! I'd love an opportunity to hunt out west. It's so different that the hunting I know. Good luck and have fun.
Good luck man. I'd love to be heading out in the morning but still gotta wait bout a month ha. Probably good thing tho I'm really slacking this year getting stuff ready. So what's everybody do to pay for this hobby, know few you guys said emt/fire but was just kinda curious. I'm a concrete laborer so it work out pretty good with fall being slow at work and get plenty of time to hunt. Bad thing is takes up alot of time during summer and spring once weather gets nice that could go into hunting. Here's little of what we did today and some from past. Kinda do a little of everything but now it's mostly concrete. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
I work in IT. I mostly sit at a desk on these forums or reading about hunting. Oh and fantasy football.
I work in process maintenance for one of the gold mines. Big mills, crushers, conveyors and big pumps. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
I was IT in the army. I've asked wanted to go back. My breaks are affluent the same way, hunting and fantasy football. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
I do sewer and drain cleaning. I work for myself and sub contract out so I'm able to keep myself open in the fall according to the weather.
My father was in that line of work. He did a lot of consulting work for big operations in the west and southwest all the way down into mexico. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

He worked for himself, at the time. He knew anyone and everyone who had a mining and crushing operation. He was in sales for a company in boston that sold alot of crusher parts. He retired at age 52. He does a little work here and there. Mainly buying and selling crushers and parts. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
This year I found another seldom traveled part of public property that I can sneak into and out of. I had good luck with the property last year, so adding another good spot is always a plus. I lead a team of client success managers at a technology company.
I have yet to kill an archery deer in state land. That's on my list this year. I have a few spots that are in the more difficult to access parts of the state land.
I'm a hearing impaired teacher and run basketball training program c3 hoops. I'm blessed to do what I love. But it puts me being a weekend warrior since I don't finish until around 9 each night during the week. But get holidays off to hunt and summer to prepare. Did my first food plot this Summer. Turned out pretty well, already had pics of about 4 different small bucks.
Hi again fellas, sorry I have been absent, I’ve been on vacation and catching up on school work, work work, etc. I’ll be much more active next week after my final out of town trip. Looks like we have a solid team. Just wanted to drop in and let you know I’m still around. Rampaige, you don’t happen to work with a guy named Kyle Seitz? He works for a Norwich FD, not sure which one, good friend/half-brother of mine. Personal questions: I work for a defense contractor as an overpaid logistics/supply guy. Which brings me to the next thing, I see many IT guys here, go to Raytheon Careers and search, if you find something you are interested in, send me a PM and I’ll give you my email. I can put your resume through the employee referral program and hopefully help to push you towards the front of the stack. I am not a head hunter, sometomes I can receive a referral bonus if you are hired. https://jobs.raytheon.com/
So who all plans on taking a doe if they get an opportunity? I think I might but not sure yet. I gotta see how much meat we have in the freezer yet etc.
