Well I got the job done. I hit him right behind the front shoulder and cut the top of the heart and lungs. About a 22 yd shot. He ran about 60 yards and was down. I'll get him scored and posted later this weekend. I'm guessing hes only about 100

kurveball, what did you think of those +p blades? I switched from the original rages and my blood trail looked liked someone was throwing buckets of paint in the woods.

S$&t back to work. I hunted 10 out of my 11 days off. I saw plenty of deer but no shooters in range. I mainly hunted public land and did not run into any other hunters while hunting. That usually doesn't happen I think the warm weather kept people home. Well I'll be back in a tree Friday and Saturday for a management hunt so hopefully I'll let an arrow fly.

Illinois was a bust. Saw a lot of awesome bucks Saturday when glassing the field. Not a dang thing on Sunday. Guess I'll have to get a TN buck.

Not that its a big deal but just curious if KentuckyBuck ever posted the video of his doe on the scorecard. I was just looking at our score and didn't see it. Also didn't see the doe from Flyguy415 posted either.

I might be blind so feel free to call me out. :)

Well last couple weeks have sucked. Had to work some weekends and 12 hrnighgshifts as something went south at work. On vacation now, got a Doe down and was so close to shooting a slammer the day before.

They aren't included in the latest update. Could be enough points to move us out of the middle of the pack.

    Reporting in guys,

On the 4th i put a non-lethal shot on my #1 Captain Hook. Neighbor got trail camera pics of him on November 8th still alive. Pretty bummed out about it honestly, this was the 2nd time ive shot at him (Missed him last year on September 27th).

    The hunt continues.

By my count, we have 441 points. Were still very much in this, i will take a doe before the season ends. Does are the KEY to padding your score.

Still pretty bummed at my opportunity to be a member of the elite 200 point club on here, been posting for many years and its always been one of my goals.

I'll get my Doe entered Monday from a work computer. My iPhone does not link the link in Photobucket for some reason. This is my last day of vacation then weekends only. My luck had been crap this week , I rattled in a dandy 9 last weekend to 20 yards, he came into the only place I can't shoot. A few days ago I had a wife shooter 8 come into range but way to late in evening. I could see him in he camera since they bring in light but barely with my eyes. The very next evening I had an even better super wide 8 come in from out of nowhere to 12 yards, by the time I got camera on and recording he was at 25 yards, I drew gave him a mah, he would not stop, gave him another and this time he took 4 steps to the left and stopped to see where found came from BUT he got a 12" tree between us and I had no shot. I'm now Bowhunting with orange on and since the firearm opener yesterday it's really slowed down. Seen plenty that morning but only a Doe that eve. HOLY CRAP, its pitch black as I type this I can't see the ground and a gun just went off in he distance!
