So what do you guys think? 3.5 or 4.5 I'm thinking he is a 3.5 and just doesn't have the rack yet to be a 4.5

I'd agree with this, looks like big bodied deer.

Well Monday brought me nothing. Started in a stand I left from last year. Need to hang some more this week where I need to be hunting.

I should be picking up my new sight tomorrow morning. I'm working a web design job for my neighbor's construction company, so hopefully that's my new bow. The dealer here deals in most major brands. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Well made it through another work week just about. Supposed to warm back up this weekend so idk how that's gonna be. Got home in time to go hunting last two days but yesterday the wind really picked up so didn't go and I really don't have an excuse for today ha. Should get off early tomorrow tho so I already made up my mind I'm goin. I get kind of gun shy during the week going out with having to work the next day. Not that I couldn't take off if needed to, I just worry don't won't have time to take care of anything I shoot. Either way good luck guys.

    Hey gents, checking in.

Been pretty slow here. Very few shooters on camera right now. Might take a doe here soon to stay in the groove, got plenty of them using my farm.

Well just got home. Did another Saturday night and Sunday morning hunt. Saw nothing hunted some public that has been good in the past but never got a chance to scout it prior to season. Zero acorns, no crop fields near by and didnt see very much sign at all so next weekend back to the grind at some of my good spots.

Did find a good rub though near one of the areas I hunt during the rut.

So this weekend I hunted on the edge of a swamp where our cabin is. Never saw anything but I did accomplish something I wanted to do this year and hopefully continue to do. Typically when hunting out of a hang on I would only use 3 lone wolf sticks and be about 12-13 feet in a group of trees. Wouldn't get busted that often but I knew I needed to get higher in some of the places I hunt. Well not liking heights is not fun sometimes but I slowed down and used my line-mens belt and used 4 lone wolf sticks and got up to about 17 feet. Once sitting and cooled off I was comfortable. It was kind of nice that I did it. Thought I picked a pretty good tree too, just didn't have any acorns to bring the deer in on the ridge in front of me. LOL I actually think I can get even a little higher as well once the leaves come down.

Went out last night. Had few does and small 8 come in. 8 came in after I hit grunt call. Don't think I have one pic of him on my trail cams. Cold front moved in and has got them on their feet a it here in KY.
