Man, I hope you're alright. Best advice I can give you is to slow things down. And double check things. I feel your frustration cuz I've been there.

I should be hunting tonite. Lately Wisconsin weather and work has barred me from the woods. Hoping tonite will be a good one to sit.

Hey guys got out Sunday for the evening hunt. Saw my first Georgia Buck(while hunting) it was a basket 6 (maybe a keeper down here lol) a doe with a fawn and another, unidentified deer, slipping through the trees.

That's about it for now, hope to get out a couple times during this week. Good Luck all!

Great work Frosty! Way to get us on the board. Hopefully we'll all follow suit. Unfortunately I'll be out of the country until next Tuesday but done traveling for a while after that and will be back to hunting full time. Good Luck fellas and be safe while I'm gone.

Nice Job Man! Boy does that help my confidence. Lately I've been doubting my hunting stand because the last 4 days sitting I haven't seen a deer. I'm thinking of moving it deeper in the woods. I probably will look into some spots this weekend. I hate to move but I better get going if I wanna beat the rut.

Congrats again! I'd like to hear the story and all the details.

Alright guys. Need some team advice. I'm moving my stand this weekend. The land I hunt is public and its thick woods. No farms or fields anywhere. Land consists of a couple roads and logging trails. Landscape is a mixture of hardwoods ridges, mixtures of all different pines, and thick thick swamps. What should I look for and why? I wanna be on the edge of the swamps but am unsure if this is the best route to get some good deer movement.

my honest opion i think you need to find out if anyone else hunts near you usually that can determine where you want to hang a stand...Hunting pressure usually changes deer movement therefore that could change where you actually want to place a stand.

Alrighty guys! I put up another stand and am really confident its the one. Got some good buck sign in the area. Bought some climbing sticks and have the stand bout 23 ft up so I'm pretty well hidden and I put a camera out so hopefully I'll have some pics for you guys. Probably go this Friday or possibly Wednesday.
