Went out this morning, saw 11 turkeys underneath my stand, and a bunch of squirrels. Nobody I know saw a deer this morning.
I went out and hung stands all day. Was going to hunt this evening on different property and realized I couldn't even draw the bow if a P&Y walked under my stand. Every muscle in my body aches. Getting old sucks

I went the past 2 nights. I didn't see anything on either night. The first night it rained, then it stopped, and then it rained. That continued all throughtout the day until it was quitting time. Then last night everything seemed great. Little wind sun was out and the woods wasn't too wet. But then the mosquitoes were out. They drove me nuts! And then the last hour of sitting it rained again. It was a little frustrating. I can't wait til it gets cold cuz the mosquitoes need to die!
This morning I only saw 2 does. Came back in for breakfast around 10 and started to hang a stand near where I saw the does. Was at the top of the sticks hanging the actual stand when 50 yards away 4 does ran past me into an alfalfa field. I didn't have my bow.
Had some idiot on a horse come by the property (it's private with posted signs everywhere) two hours before we went in the woods yesterday. Did you catch the license plate on that oversized pony! lmfao. But joking aside its ridiculous. I went and baited my stand and noticed that the corn was gone but the apples were still there. Anyone know y this would be? Reason I ask is because my apples are always gone. Not a big deal. Just wondering what the thoughts were. Also I didn't go hunting because it hasn't stopped raining.

tis the season for the cold and flu season i can never tell them apart but i got one of them so i will have to see if i will make it out this weekend i think if i go it will be friday afternoon or saturday morning....
