I'll be heading out in about an hour for my second sit so far this season. Good SSE wind @ 5mph, cloudy, and a very light drizzle. Perfect! :tu:

173 was the tentative score by me...but with his crazy multi brow right and that split g2 base issue I'm not gonna post a score for sure in the scorecard till I get officially scored fellas.

I may hit the tree tomorrow but will be later than I'd like (probably up with 2 hours left) after a doe in an urban zone to earn another buck tag....let's see if I can provide over 200 points in 3 days time!

Yeah I really need to take a close up picture of that thing....it literally is like a three way brow...with what I measured as main brow having two stickers off like a jester's hat...

Awesome buck Ty!!! Besides having a great score he’s got a lot of character. Just a great looking deer. Good job, can’t wait to hear more about your hunt!

I hit the woods yesterday evening, but didn't see anything while on stand. Saw two doe on the way out though. It must be the October lull!

October lull is real, or at least it is for me. I have logged 5 hunts and I am off to a really slow start. Haven't seen a deer yet. Granted the conditions have not been ideal (wind, heat, etc). I have abandoned a few of my go to areas right now until the wind shifts and gets a little better. I tried at my hand at some acorn flats this past weekend and had no luck. Definitely now how I envisioned my season starting off, but I will keep plugging away. We have a small front coming in this weekend "supposedly" so I may try to get in the stand and log some hours this Sunday.

And once again, great deer TY! I have never even seen a deer that big so I can only imagine what that was like for you! Outstanding my man!

What was your biggest prior to this? Send it in to the BH website, maybe you'll be on their next episode! I made an episode last season.

Talk about an upgrade! That may be a buck of a lifetime for you then!

Is the taxidermist going to officially score it for you?

Yea, also got a second one lined up just to verify as well once taxidermist cuts out the antlers/skull plate I'll take em to him.

I've killed some awesome bucks and quite a few mature ones just none with that much head gear for sure LOL!!

Very solid chance that he could be best ever...time shall see...

Habitat Podcast had me sit down last night and tell the story of Cicero so I'll link that when up...also going to be making a video for Small Acre as well. Tomorrow morning taxidermist is going to put tape to the antlers for me as well.

Just got the call from scorer. Officially green gross score is 175 even. I'll amend my scorecard post Thursday when I pick up the scoresheet.
