    All true.

If you're worried about the offset of that little weight added to the side, you have a cure for this that you should be using with or without your quiver attached.

    Use your sight level.

True, but it's more than just a little weight....A fully loaded quiver with six arrows weighs upwards of 1.5 lbs, which is over a third of the bare weight of the bow....that's not really a few grams dangling from the side of your bow.

And while you CAN correct for this by gripping your bow more, i find it hurts my accuracy as opposed to when the bow balances naturally in my hand.

I take mine off for all the same reasons as Justin stated....but mainly because I practice that way and am more accurate that way. The only time my quiver remains on is during a stalk when i don't have time to remove it, and since 95% of every stalk ive ever made was slow and deliberate, I had ample time to remove the quiver before drawing.

I may need to try it for my recurve though, cause to be honest the thing sounds like a dang gun almost lol... If a mounted quiver seriously absorbs noise, sign me up. Hope to use the thing enough by next year to take it to the woods with me. If not, I'm selling it.

And the total weight would be.........?

Seriously.....you're concerned over a pound of weight? When a deer comes in, you're holding your bow out there for what (on avg)......a minute?

If everyone just said...."I don't like to shoot with it on there", and didn't try to justify it, that would be better (IMO).

I use the tru-glo tru-tec quiver with led light to see what arrow you are loading. It also has a nifty piece of rope across the top to hang the quiver. Very Nice!!

My daughter, who is 6, wears here hair in ponytails quite a bit, I use one of her small rubberbands around the center of the Rages to keep them from opening. Haven't had any issues with it in the last 3 years.

The Bloodrunners I just don't run in to the foam all the way.

Most of my hunting is spot and stalk so I'm used to the quiver being attached to the bow. I leave it on while in a tree because it's how I practice, I know I can get an arrow out readily and I don't have to worry about it falling.

My thoughts exactly! It might add a little weight to your rig, but I would rather have follow-up arrows just in case. I have never had to utilize a follow-up arrow, but......... Plus, on my Elite my bow seems to shoot quieter and with less vibration with the quiver on while shooting!!

    To each his own though.

    Ditto,
Also, coyotes cruising by gets a special arrow...
Usually I can knock coyote arrow (Thunderhead) and put the other away in time...
    Works for me quickie quiver....
But, you have to tighten bolt to keep it from making a bunch of noise though!
Have always done this and it really works too!
Bows are soooo quiet........they don't have a clue or chance! Coyotes or Deer!
